Boston Singers’ Resource is presenting very special recital called, “A Musical Portrait of Emily Dickinson,” a program of songs on texts by Massachusetts’ own “Belle of Amherst,” Emily Dickinson. The songs, mostly by New England composers, are woven into a script that sheds light on the life and philosophy of the reclusive poet and brings her into our midst in a very personal way. Performers include Boston Singers’ Resource members Stephanie Mann, soprano, Roselin Osser, mezzo soprano, and tenor, Leslie Tay. The BSR Recital Series artistic director, Beverly Soll, will accompany at the piano. The recital is open to the public, but reservations are recommended to ensure a seat. A suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the door
