Art in the Making -  Celebrating the Artist in All of Us 

Ballroom Gallery - Free

For the month of September the MAA is celebrating our 90
year history of art making by inviting EVERYONE to come and make art! 
Explore your creativity by contributing to several art installations/activities using a variety of materials that
will evolve and grow throughout the month. Activities will include “Write the Words”, adding your message
to the communal chalkboard; ”All Knotted Up” – adding pieces of colorful fabric to create
a gigantic textural masterpiece; “Create
Together” – bring a friend and add to each other’s drawing.  Or try
your hand at creating a self-portrait or capturing a still life that you can take with you or leave on the MAA Ballroom walls!

Adding to this exhibit is a very
special installation that you must see! 
This piece is by [Space] a group of artists who are interested in
presenting experimental and emerging art with the local community. [Space]
fosters an environment of critique, inspiration, and knowledge amongst artists.
In doing so we enrich the local arts scene and open a dialogue between the arts
and the community that supports them.

This completely interactive exhibit is great for ARTISTS AND NON-ARTISTS OF ALL ages
and any skill level.  Come and celebrate the artist in YOU!
