The artists whose work will be exhibited are: Nathalie Binney of Salem, Winnie Burns of Charlestown, Corinne Commoss-Abercrombie of Marblehead, Lesley Cronan of Marblehead, Leslie Downie of Marblehead, Penny Paquette of Marblehead, Jo Ann Augeri Silva of Marblehead, Sherry Vernick of Swampscott, and Joan Whelan of Marblehead. All are Daly’s current watercolor students at the Marblehead Arts Association, and some have studied with her for several years.

“It gives me great pleasure to show the art of my watercolor class,” said Daly. ”This is the first exhibition for many. They have shown their dedication and determination to learn this unforgiving medium with enthusiasm and awe! At our plein air locations, they brave the wind and cold or humid, hot weather, and never falter from their goal to keep painting. During the winter months, we are indoors at the Hooper Mansion, painting flowers and other still lifes.  Again, they forge ahead and produce art that not only encompasses the elements of design -- line, composition, color, value, and movement -- but art that represents their own unique individual style and personality. Their energy, spirit and budding talent are obvious in their art making ----and I am proud to say that I am the instructor of this wonderful group!”
