
The 5th Annual Star-Spangled Pops Concert – one of the most festive musical events of the spring – will be held on Saturday evening, May 19, at historic Abbot Hall in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
The doors will open at 7 p.m. for a Star-Spangled Pops reception. The concert will begin at 8 p.m.
Maestro Dirk Hillyer and The Hillyer Festival Orchestra will perform musical selections inspired by the 200th Anniversary of The War of 1812 as well as the 50th Anniversary of Henry Mancini’s Academy Award for “Moon River.”

And this year’s special musical guest will be baritone David Coffin, known to many as the Master of Ceremonies of The Christmas Revels in Cambridge and as a master of the music from the “Maritime Era.”
All tickets will go on sale Thursday, April 19. Floor table tickets are $40 each and available exclusively through the mail-in downloadable form at www.rcomh.org or at www.marbleheadmuseum.org beginning April 19.

Tickets for balcony seats are $25 each and will be available beginning April 19 through the order form or in person in Marblehead at five locations: Arnould Gallery and Framery, 111 Washington Street; Marblehead Bank, 21 Atlantic Avenue; Marblehead Museum & Historical Society, 170 Washington Street; National Grand Bank, 91 Pleasant Street; and Spirit of ’76 Bookstore, 107 Pleasant Street.
Proceeds from Star-Spangled Pops will benefit the education and preservation programs of Marblehead Museum & Historical Society and the scholarships and service projects of The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor.
