Tai Chi is an excellent form of exercise for stress relief and flexibility. It focuses on stretching and breathing exercises to move you towards balance. The movements that you learn in Tai Chi can be applied to how you carry yourself in other areas of your life. Qigong is an ancient Chinese system of exercise and meditation that makes the mind and spirit tranquil, improves physical stamina and strength, and cultivates health, well being and long life. Both Qigong and Tai Chi are gentle and suitable for everyone. So you can practice Qigong and Tai Chi regardless of your age or physical ability. Both are low impact and focus on breathing and gentle, flowing movements.
