Do you have a vision for the land you love? Consider conservation. A new state tax credit that offers up to $50,000 in state income tax credit can help. Learn more on Saturday December 1 from 9-11am when Essex County Greenbelt will host a Land Conservation Tax Credit Forum at the Gould Barn, 1 Howlett Street, in Topsfield. Greenbelt’s land conservation staff along with landowners who have benefitted from the state tax credit will make an informal presentation and be available to answer questions. Co-sponsoring the Forum with Greenbelt are the Andover Village Improvement Society, Beverly Conservation Trust, Boxford Trails Association/Boxford Open Land Trust, Hamilton-Wenham Open Land Trust, Manchester-Essex Conservation Trust, and the Marblehead Conservancy. The Forum is free and open to the public. To reserve a seat please contact Greenbelt at 978-768-7241 or visit the Greenbelt website, ecga.org.
