
Marblehead Little Theatre proudly announces its upcoming production of Neil Simon’s hit play “Brighton Beach Memiors”. The show is being produced by Christine Dhionis and Kara Nelson and is being directed by Steve Black. The cast includes: real life brothers Owen and Alex Grover as Eugene Morris Jerome and Staney Jerome respectively, Ursina Amsler as Kate Jerome, Bobby Kerrigan as Jack Jerome, Meghan Holtz as Blanche Morton, Jacqui Amrich as Nora Morton and Annie Krivit as Laurie Morton.
Set in the Brighton Beach section of Brooklyn New York in 1937, this coming of age comedy focuses on Eugene Morris Jerome, a Polish-Jewish American teenager who experiences puberty, sexual awakening, and a search for identity as he tries to deal with his family, including his older brother Stanley, his parents Kate and Jack, and Kate's sister Blanche and her two daughters, Nora and Laurie, who come to live there after their father's death.

Performance dates/times: Friday, January 27 @ 7:30PM, Saturday, January 28 @ 2PM & 7:30PM, Sunday, January 29 @ 2PM, Friday, February 3 @ 7:30PM, Saturday, February 4 @ 2PM & 7:30PM and Sunday, February 5 @ 2PM. Opening night performance on January 27th will honor Marblehead Artist Elaine Daly for the new artwork she has created for the new vestibule. Opening night ticket will also include an after show “Meet The Cast” event. Tickets are $20 for adults $25 at the door, $15 for students.
