“We are able to offer individualized attention and small class sizes. This makes the children and the parents both happy.  Our toddler classroom has a maximum of 9 children and our preschool and transitional kindergarten classes have a maximum of 10 children.  Our bright, cheerful classrooms and professional and experienced staff make St. Stephen’s Nursery School a wonderful place for children.

St. Stephen's Nursery School was founded in 1961, more than 43 years ago and is the longest continuously running nursery school in Marblehead. Our priorities at St. Stephen’s Nursery School are to continue to provide a safe and healthy environment and to provide children with experiences that will aid in developing their potential.

Included in the curriculum, the school offers a gymnastics program and music enrichment program.

"Children are encouraged to be creative, make decisions independently, get along with others, be self confident, develop physical coordination and most of all love school", says the director.
