Take a visual journey back to the 1600s – a spirited and dynamic time that is far more interesting than most people realize. In honor of the 400th anniversary of the birth of Moses Maverick, Marblehead’s principal founder, in 1611, a talk by Judy Anderson will look at the people, houses, interiors and household goods during Maverick’s time.
From 1635 until his death in 1686 in his 75th year, Maverick worked to develop Marblehead into a viable community and productive fishing town. The talk is sponsored by the Marblehead Historical Commission. Admission is free.
