Solar Energy: How it Works, What it Costs, and How to Tell if it’s Right for You

The Abbot Public Library, in collaboration with Sunlight Solar Energy, will present an opportunity to learn about solar energy, on Thursday, August 12th. The presentation will provide an introduction to solar technology and explain how homeowners can reduce their energy consumption while helping preserve our planet. In addition, a local homeowner who has recently converted to solar energy will discuss his experience. This is an ideal time to learn about solar energy, as there currently are generous State and Federal incentives and rebates for Massachusetts homeowners who chose to "go solar." A question-and-answer session will follow.
