Marblehead, MA – Tickets are now on sale for Marblehead Little Theatre’s much anticipated production of Spring Awakening, which will begin performances October 13th at the Firehouse on School Street.
Spring Awakening is an energy-driven rock musical adapted from the controversial 1891 German play by Frank Wedekind. Set in the late 19th century Germany, Spring Awakening tells the story of youth’s discovery of the inner and outer tumult of sexuality, seen through the eyes of the rock-drama’s teenage characters. With music by Dunkin Sheik and book & lyrics by Steven Sater, this fresh take on a timeless story will be sure to awaken audiences.
Marblehead Little Theatre’s production is directed by Steve Black, and co-produced by Craig Massey and Judy Wayne. Musical director is Lianne Goodwin, with choreography by Lara Finn.
Following the performance on October 14th, Marblehead Little Theatre will hold a meet and greet with the actors and production team of Spring Awakening.
