PLEASE DO BRING: TVs, CRTs, monitors, computers, telephones, laptops, keyboards, drives, cables, cords, all computer peripherals, all kinds of marine electronics, e-readers like Kindle and Nook, copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, laptops, stereo equipment, speakers, CD & DVD players, iPods, iPads, iPhones, MP3 players, remotes, VCR's, projectors, all kinds of still and video cameras, PDAs, radios and radio equipment, answering machines, camcorders, typewriters, game systems, games, pagers, fans, vacuums, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, microwave ovens, toasters, blenders, small “dorm-room style” refrigerators, power tools, ink cartridges, toner cartridges, USB media, CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, 8-track tapes, Zip Disks, video tapes, audio tapes, floppy diskettes, and household batteries.


Filing cabinets and office furniture are okay, too. Cell phones will accepted at no charge.

RECYCLING FEE: Incoming materials will be weighed, and attendees will be charged an Ethical Recycling Fee of $1.00 per pound, payable by cash, check, MasterCard, or VISA. (See below for applicable discounts.)

WIN A CRUISE: Everyone who recycles 50 or more pounds of materials in conjunction with this event qualifies for a chance to win a two-hour luxury sailboat cruise for twelve people, redeemable in Marblehead during the  summer of 2013, courtesy of Carol Kent Yacht Charters.


SPECIAL TREAT: Free coffee and donuts for folks who recycle their materials at the event.


NOTES: All materials collected will be processed in accordance with the Electronic Waste Code of EthicsTM: the highest and most comprehensive set of electronics life-cycle standards in the world. The Electronic Waste (e-waste) Code Of Ethics includes a mandate to educate youth about the global problem of Electronic Waste as well as a pledge to prevent e-waste from being dumped or deposited into solid waste landfills or incinerators.  It also requires that electronics not be dumped in developing countries, or processed by child or prison
