Investigate – The children will become familiar with many different LEGO® pieces/products and how they will work together to build smaller versions of the historic building/site of their choosing. They will have access to photos, descriptions, and a short history of certain buildings and places in Marblehead to use as a guide and model for their LEGO® creation.

Plan – The children will plan what pieces will be needed given size, shape, color and function in order to recreate the site they have chosen.

Design – The children will generate a design plan for how they will go about the building process. (This will be informal)

Create – The children will then begin building their creation!!

All children will be allowed to take their creations home!!
