MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless found guilty.
Sun., Aug. 7
- 6:47 p.m. An iPhone was reported stolen from the YMCA on Leggs Hill Road.
- 8:56 p.m. A woman on Coolidge Road said someone rang her doorbell then took off.
- 9:19 p.m. Fireworks were reported on Village Street.

- 8:48 a.m. A car was broken into on Lafayette Street.
- 12:12 p.m. A painter tumbled 30 feet off a ladder on Ocean Avenue; he was transported to Salem Hospital with a back injury. The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified about the incident.
Tue., Aug.9
- 12:29 a.m. Someone attempted to break into a car on Pinecliff Drive.
