MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.
Thur., March 10
- 10:17 a.m. A man said he was the victim of credit card skimming. Someone stole his name, address, and social security number and made purchases in Connecticut.
- 10:49 a.m. A woman said someone with a foreign accent called her asking for money to donate to Marblehead High School athletics. The caller said the money would support football, cross-country, and volleyball. The woman said it sounded like a scam.
- 4:24 p.m. A woman said she was the victim of a possible IRS fraud.
- 6:49 p.m. A 10-year-old boy on Harbor Avenue was transported to Children's Hospital after getting habanero pepper in his eye.
