Haunted Happenings Hitting the Home Stretch in Salem This Weekend

If you think downtown Salem has been crowded so far this October for Haunted Happenings, you haven’t seen anything yet.
It’s the last full weekend of the month-long Halloween celebration, and city officials are expecting that this could be the busiest weekend of the year in Salem.

If you are looking for family fun, the Salem Common Neighborhood Association is once again presenting the Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Salem Common on Saturday and Sunday.
The House of the Seven Gables presents the popular Spirit of the Gables and the Legacy of the Hanging Judge on Saturday night, both starting at 7 p.m.

In what has become an annual tradition, the Haunted Movie Series on the Salem Common presents the Salem-shot Hocus Pocus on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.
And this weekend presents plenty of grown-up options for those looking for a spooky good night on the town.
The Salem Wizarding Halloween Ball is Saturday night at the Knights of Columbus beginning at 8 p.m. Also on Saturday night is the Wicked Night on the Wharf at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and the 8th Annual Zombie Prom at Victoria Station.
If you have recovered in time from all the scary partying, you can stop by for the Mourning Tea at the Hawthorne Hotel at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Sunday also sees the Psychic Fair to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at Victoria Station at 1 p.m.
