Heavy Delays on Pleasant Street in Marblehead

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Paving crews are on Pleasant Street in Marblehead Thursday, causing heavy traffic delays. Pleasant Street between Smith Street and the Tents Corner intersection near Marblehead High School was down to one lane Thursday afternoon.

"It is extremely slow going in that area for the next few hours as the crews try to complete the work before school traffic time," Marblehead police said in a statement.
