MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log.

Tue., Aug. 23

• 1:45 p.m. Credit card fraud on Shorewood Road.
• 3:14 p.m. Jamaal Reese, 24, of Marblehead, was arrested on a warrant.
• 4:20 p.m. IRS scam on Prospect Street.
• 5:31 p.m. IRS scam on Powder House Court.
• 6:52 p.m. IRS scam on Lattimer Street.
• 9:36 p.m. A bunch of teenage boys rang a doorbell on Harbor Avenue then ran off.

Wed., Aug. 24

• 2:31 a.m. A gunshot was reported on Beacon Street.
• 1:33 p.m. Three IRS scam calls were reported on Sewall Street.
• 2:01 p.m. A kayak was reported stolen on Ocean Avenue.

Thur., Aug. 25

• 12:26 a.m. A car crashed into a pole on Lindbergh Road then took off. The driver, a young man, was turned in by his father and charged with negligent driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
