Latest Marblehead police log: several hit-and-runs, a vandalized Jeep, and a stolen paddleboard.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are presumed innocent.
Sun., Aug. 21
- 1:06 p.m. A vehicle that a witness said looked like an old police car struck a parked vehicle on Atlantic Avenue then fled the scene.
- 6:37 p.m. George Zazoulin, 62, of Marblehead, was arrested on a warrant.
- 6:41 p.m. A paddleboard was stolen on Bennett Road.
- 8:33 p.m. A 21-year-old Palmer resident was taken into protective custody following a report of an unruly patron on Front Street.
- 11:58 p.m. A truck struck a fence on Kenneth Road then took off.

- 6:29 a.m. Firefighters extinguished a brush fire on Corinthian Lane.
- 8:15 a.m. A woman on Crestwood Road said someone smeared feces on her front door.
- 8:43 a.m. The Marblehead harbormaster was dispatched to Swampscott for a report of a missing swimmer; it turned out to be unfounded.
- 1:18 p.m. A Jeep was vandalized on Casino Road.
- 7:40 p.m. A green SUV was seen driving up off a hill and nearly hitting a parked car on Stonybrook Road.
- 9:21 p.m. Two "10th-graders dressed in black" rang a doorbell on Franklin Street then took off. The homeowner said it's happened multiple times before and he caught the most recent incident on video.
