MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.

Wed., April 6

• 11:39 a.m. A National Grid scam was reported on Village Street.
• 2:35 p.m. A 39-year-old homeless man was taken into protective custody on Washington Street.

Thur., April 7

• 4:09 p.m. A property manager on Washington Street asked for help with an unruly tenant who was evicted.
• 8:46 p.m. Two drivers were warned by police for doing donuts in the mud on Stramski Way.
• 9:04 p.m. A father on Highland Terrace said his daughter received threatening text messages.

Fri., April 8

• 6:35 a.m. A homeowner on Hillcrest Road said someone broke into his home and stole cell phones, electronics, and other items.
