Hornets Strand Woman on Roof

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:
Saturday, June 15:
- At 8:05 a.m., a walk-in to the police station said he saw a youth shoot a squirrel with a BB-gun, then walk up to the animal and pump several more BBs into it. The walk-in said the boy, a teenager, has killed other squirrels. Police spoke to the boy and his mother. He will only be allowed to shoot the air-soft gun when supervised by her. In addition, the town animal control officer was to go to the boy's house and talk to him about shooting squirrels.
- At 9:14 a.m., a neighbor on Evans Road reportedly refused to move a car so the other neighbor could move out.
- At 10:18 a.m., stone was reportedly all over the roadway on Atlantic Avenue.
- At 11:16 a.m., a motor vehicle was stopped on Atlantic Avenue in connection with a road rage incident and the driver was advised to keep his vulgarities to himself.
- At 2:07 p.m., a walk-in to the police station reported a lost Vera Bradley bag with a license and Visa card in it.
- At 3:12 p.m., a woman was asked to leave a store on Washington Street. The woman had reportedly come into the store previously and each time was rude and nasty.
- At 7:14 p.m., police received numerous complaints about loud music coming from a Jane Street party. The music was turned down and the party was breaking up.
- At 10:23 p.m., police received a report about a woman yelling for help at an Atlantic Avenue residence.The woman was stuck on the roof and the Fire Department got a door open so she could go back in the house. The woman called back to say thank you. She said she had gone out "on the roof deck w/liquid latex spray to take care of a leak and encountered a hornets' nest. In the confusion as the hornets became agitated the door got shut and she was locked on the roof deck."
