How Much Snow Did the Marblehead Area Get?

Snow totals from the National Weather Service were slightly higher than some forecasts.

Marblehead, MA - Although the North Shore did not get hit as hard as areas to the south, people did wake up this morning with a little more snow than they might have been expecting.

According to the National Weather Service, nearby Salem saw 5.8 inches of snow from the storm that hit from Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning, while Gloucester had 7 inches of snow.

Earlier forecasts predicted anywhere from one to four inches for Marblehead.

However, with temperatures expected to hit the mid-40s by the middle of the week, that extra snow should quickly melt.
