Install Solar, Help Marblehead's Abandoned Animals

If you've been thinking about solar power for your home or business, now could be the time to act.

Boston Solar has selected Friends of Marblehead’s Abandoned Animals as the community beneficiary for its new Empower Marblehead program.

During summer 2015, Boston Solar will make a $250 community contribution to Friends of Marblehead’s Abandoned Animals (FOMAA) for every new solar system installed, and a $125 contribution made for each high efficiency heat pump system installed. Empower Marblehead participants will also each receive $250 in “Marblehead Money” to help support local businesses.

“The volunteers of the Marblehead Animal Shelter are appreciative of this support in our mission to help abandoned, surrendered and abused animals,” said Katie Van Dorpe, FOMAA executive director, in a statement.
