βWith the momentum from our year-round boutique and running these events the past six years weβve had a huge increase in merchandise,β Fedas says. βAnd that increase in merchandise means more real, high quality merchandise. This year we have tons of awesome baby gear, outdoor toys and more, as well as top brands like crewcuts from J.Crew, Mini Boden, Hanna Andersson, Janie & Jack, Gymboree, and everything in between.β
The event takes place in 5,000 square feet right next door to the Itsy Bitsy Boutique located inside Brick Kiln Plaza (99 Chelmsford Road) in Billerica.
Doors open to the public for the spring event on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 29 from 8 a.m. to noon. On Sunday, shoppers will find many items available at 50 percent off.
The Itsy Bitsy event benefits Childrenβs Hospital Boston, donating 25 percent of all new registrations to Childrenβs Hospital, and consignors can donate a percentage of their total profits to their fundraising efforts. Funds raised help defer medical costs of patients whose families canβt afford care to purchase essential medical equipment, support pediatric research and provide training for the next generation of pediatricians.
The twice-annual event is held in partnership with Cradles to Crayons, a local organization that assists children in need. At the end of the sale weekend, consignors have the option to have all items not sold donated to the organization
