Welcome to Last Chance, a new weekly feature on Marblehead Patch that will provide a list of upcoming deadlines that you may want to know about.

Here is a list of important dates that we think Marblehead residents will want to know before they start their week.

Best of Patch Readers' Choice: 

This week's poll is all about french fries. Is there a restaurant in town known for their french fries? Let us know by and casting your vote and writing a review. Voting in this poll will close at 9 a.m. on Friday.

Library Exhibit:

You only have one more week to take in the 's new exhibit entitled “The Peace Dove”: An International Labor Poster Exhibit, by Stephen Lewis. The exhibit will be on display in the library's Virginia A. Carten Gallery through April 26.

Video Battle of the Bands:

Get your video submissions into us this week if you plan on participating in . The regional competition kicks off on April 23 - so be sure to have your videos in by then.

The Marblehead/Swampscott Legion Baseball Junior and Senior teams will have a final registration meeting on Sunday April  22 at 12 p.m. at the Swampscott Field house on Humphrey Street.

Returning players and potential new players will need to return all of their paper work at this meeting. Players need an original raised seal birth certificate.. We will also discuss the possibility of tryouts due to an increase in interest from potential players this year.

Both Junior and Senior Legion teams will play between twenty and twenty five games starting right after the high school season ends. Registration fee is $175.00 payable by check to Swampscott Legion Baseball. Anyone with questions please Email Tim Cassidy at Ctbone098@aol.com
