Welcome to Last Chance, a weekly feature on Marblehead Patch that provides our readers with a list of upcoming deadlines that they may want to know about.

Here is a list of important dates to help you start your week on the right foot.

Get your leaves and grass ready this week

The curbside collection of leaves and grass will take place on your regular scheduled trash and recycling days on the following weeks:

The week of April 30th.
The week of May 7th.
The week of May 14th.

Additional information:

• No plastic bags will be collected or emptied.
• The limit per household is ten (10) paper bags or barrels.
• This is a leaves-only collection. Bags or barrels containing brush or other material will not be collected.
• This type of material affects the quality of the compost generated from leaves.
• There are no scheduled holidays that would affect this special collection.

Need a new book?

The Friends of the Abbot Public Library will be holding a book sale today and tomorrow. Seniors will get a 20 percent discount today from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. organizers will be giving away a "Bag of Books for a Buck." The sale will be on again tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Rabbit Hole will running at through the end of the week.

Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for students $20 for adults and $25 at the door Click Here for additional information.

Review the Town Meeting Warrant

Town Meeting will be held in the Performing Arts Center at on Monday, May 7 and Tuesday, May 8.

Be sure to make time to review the Town Meeting Warrant before the end of the week.
