Open casting call for Grown Ups 2

The open casting call for Grown Ups 2 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, between 10 am and 4 pm at Carson Place, The Boston Teacherʼs Union Hall, 180 Mt. Vernon St., Dorchester (near the Bayside Expo Center).

Residents are encouraged to bring a pen and a current 4X6 color snapshot. This picture may NOT be professionally taken.

Get your leaves and grass ready

The curbside collection of leaves and grass will take place on your regular scheduled trash and recycling days on the following weeks:

The week of May 7th.
The week of May 14th.

Additional information:

  • No plastic bags will be collected or emptied.
  • The limit per household is ten (10) paper bags or barrels.
  • This is a leaves-only collection. Bags or barrels containing brush or other material will not be collected.
  • This type of material affects the quality of the compost generated from leaves.
  • There are no scheduled holidays that would affect this special collection.

Get an absentee ballot

Marblehead's Annual Town Election will be held on Monday, May 14.

Absentee ballots are now available at . The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is 5 p.m. on May 11.

Voters may vote by absentee ballot for the following reasons:

  • Absence from your city or town during normal polling hours.
  • Physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place.
  • Religious belief.
