Last MLT Summer of Music Concert - Sept 7 - Brightbill
Summer of Music Producer Craig VanRemoortel performs in the band Brightbill

Marblehead’s Craig VanRemoortel has brought musical talent to Marblehead Little Theatre with the “Summer of Music” concert and open mic night series. And, audiences have had a chance to experience some of his own remarkable talent.
Now, in the final concert of the season on Saturday, September 7, at 8 p.m., VanRemoortel's full range of talents will be featured on sax, guitar, and vocals when Brightbill takes the stage.
Brightbill is an alternative rock band formed in 2016 when lead singer and songwriter Cole Brightbill moved from Boston to Philadelphia. Cole was soon joined by saxophone and guitar player Craig VanRemoortel and others to create and record their first songs released in 2018.

With a rotating cast of characters, the band plays dynamic and energetic live sets in venues around greater Philadelphia and the northeast.
Brightbill is influenced by jam bands like Phish, The Grateful Dead, and The Dave Matthews Band, as well as modern alternative bands like The 1975, Young the Giant, and Kings of Leon.

Tickets are $10 for students and $20 for adults, and can be purchased in advance at mltlive.org or at the door the night of the concert subject to availability.
MLT’s two remaining Thursday evening Open Mic Nights are scheduled for September 7 and September 12. Admission is $5 at the door for audience members and performers. Sign-in for performers begins at 7 p.m. The music will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will run approximately two hours. Open mic nights are open to performers of all ages.
All "Summer of Music" events are hosted in MLT’s Firehouse Theatre at 12 School St. in Marblehead.
Started in 1955, the award-winning Marblehead Little Theatre is one of the oldest community theatre groups in New England, having consistently presented live-theater productions and performances for over six decades.
