Little Theatre's 'A Knight of Music' to Raise Money for SPAMALOT and One Fund

Our "Five Things to Know" column provides essential daily information at a glance for the informed Marbleheader.

1. Weather Watch: Sunny, but the cool weather continues with a high near 56.

  • Sunrise: 5:22 a.m.
  • Low tide: 8:53 a.m.
  • High tide: 3:12 p.m.
  • Sunset: 7:57 p.m.

2. Frost Advisory: Gardeners, I hope you brought any delicate plants back in last night, as the National Weather Service has a frost advisory through 8 a.m. We've got some herbs I'm not sure made it through the night. I'm also not sure if there will be another frost advisory tonight, but it's probably a good bet.

3. Election News: There will be a scattering of new faces in town government from yesterday's election. Here are the results.

4. Magicians in Action: Marblehead High School is scheduled to host Gloucester in a track meet and play a home girls tennis match versus Salem today. Here are the details on times and which fields/venues will be used.

5. Benefit for Summer Stock and the One Fund: Marblehead Little Theatre has a fundraiser tonight, "A Knight of Music" but warning — 'tis a silly place. You'll hear songs from the upcoming production of SPAMALOT. Plus, 20 percent of the proceeds will go to the One Fund for the Boston Marathon bombing victims. 7:30 p.m. at the Little Theatre, $25 (but why not donate more?).
