Lobsters Stolen from a Trap and a Neighbor Videotaping a Passerby

Tuesday, May 26

At 7:56 a.m., the police chief reported the traffic lights weren’t cycling properly at West Shore Drive and Lafayette Street.

At 9 a.m., a man reported that he suspected someone had stolen lobsters from the traps he set. He said he didn’t see anyone take the lobsters, but saw many recreation boats in the area.

At 9:20 a.m., trash was reportedly strewn everywhere on Lighthouse Lane.

At 1:23 p.m., a woman reported receiving a scam phone call from Atlanta, Ga., in which someone claimed to be her grandson and needed money.

At 5:26 p.m., a woman reported her neighbor was filming her while she was out walking. The caller said she felt like the neighbor didn’t like her because she was Hispanic. The neighbor told police she had never made any racial comments and that the woman’s dog had once bitten her and the dog was “going ballistic” so she was trying to get the dog on video.
