Local Man Arrested for OUI, Second Offense

Thurday, June 6
- At 12:59 p.m., two weed whackers were reported stolen from Leahy Landscaping.
- At 3:26 p.m., a hit and run was reported at Humphrey Street and Maple Street.
- At 6:13 p.m., a rude solicitor was reported on Endicott Avenue.
- At 7:09 p.m., police charged Paul Casale, 62, 18 Rainbow Road, Marblehead with OUI, liquor, second offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Friday, June 7
- At 12:48 p.m., police received a report of a scam phone call from Washington Street. The resident said the caller claimed to be her grandson in Cancun and in need of money.
- At 1:50 p.m., police received a report of kids who threw something at a car at Atlantic Avenue and Gerry Street.
- At 2:26 p.m., beer cans were reportedly dumped on Auburndale Road.

- At 00:31 a.m., a Glendale Road resident needed help getting into the home. Entry was gained.
- At 1:44 a.m., firefighters knocked down a basement fire and searched for fire extension on Atlantic Avenue.
- At 1:59 a.m., an Abbot View caller said he had received nine calls since 11 p.m. from a man who keeps calling looking for his wife.
- At 2:03 p.m., a wallet was found on Brookhouse Drive.
- At 4:12 p.m., harassing text were reportedly received by an Abbot View resident.
- At 10:38 p.m., a person reported a loud party with possible underage drinking at Winslow Lane Square. Police found the area to be quiet.
