Man Cave Peace Reportedly Disturbed on Evans Road

Tuesday, May 14
- At 12:05 p.m., police and fire received a report of a trash barrel on fire at Washington and Hooper Streets.
- At 7:41 p.m., police received a report of strange texts that were received by a Village Street resident. The resident was attempting to sell a guinea pig on Craigslist. After some communications the texts grew weird. The texter was told not to contact the seller about the guinea pig ad.
Wednesday, May 15
- At 8:35 a.m., a Flint Street caller said she thinks her son stole $1,700 from the home.
- At 10:08 p.m., police responded to a domestic situation on Evans Road. A woman reported that a man was drinking, in violation of an order, and he was playing his music loud. Upon police's arrival the music was not found to be loud and the man did not appear to be intoxicated. Later, the man called and reported that the woman was kicking his door and yelling at him. He said he was just trying to sit in his man cave.

- At 8:53 a.m., police responded to multiple calls about a woman who looked confused while walking on West Shore Drive. The elderly woman was released to her husband's care.
- At 11:19 a.m., police responded to a report of a drunk man at the basketball court on Wyman Road.
- At 3 p.m., police received a report of a large group of kids blocking the entrance to the Post Office. The Post Office caller said the kids were asked to move several times but they had not left.
- At 11:09 p.m., police received a report of loud music at a Cottage Street address. Police reported that the radio was now off for the night.
