Man Hits Bus With Coffee Mug When it Won't Wait for Him
A man allegedly hit an MBTA bus with a coffee cup and stood in the street when bus wouldn't wait for him.

MARBLEHEAD, MA - A Marblehead commuter was apparently none too happy when he wasn’t able to catch an MBTA bus near Washington and State Streets on Thursday morning.
Shortly after 8 a.m., Marblehead police got a call from the MBTA police about an issue involving a man standing in front of one of its buses at that location.
According to a second caller, there appeared to a man standing in front of the bus arguing with the bus driver. The caller described him as a man with a briefcase, green jacket, and a grey hat.

MBTA dispatch reported that their driver relayed that “the male party was attempting to catch the bus and was unable, so as the bus was leaving the male party hit the side of the bus with the coffee mug and stood in front of the bus.”
By the time local police got involved in the potential coffee mug wielding standoff, it had been determined that the incident was an argument between the bus driver and the passenger that had been resolved.
