Man Reports Attempted Sale of Stolen Bike

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:

Sunday, June 16:

  • At 1:07 a.m., a caller reported an argument and a possible underage party at an Arnold Terrace home. Peace was restored. Young people were reunited with parents.
  • At 1:45 a.m., police received a complaint that people were lingering and making too much noise on Village Street after they got off their boat. The parties quieted down and were awaiting a cab's arrival.
  • At 4:26 a.m., a walk-in to the police station reported a man offered him the chance to buy a bike that was stolen. The walk-in said he declined the offer, made about a month ago. He said he was reporting it as payback because the bike thief recently betrayed him.
  • At 2:25 p.m., a Front Street caller reported that graffiti was on the side of his house.
  • At 5:33, a Robert Road resident complained about a man in a pick-up truck who was picking through trash and rude when he was approached.
  • At 7:06 p.m. a Washington Street resident reported an unwanted guest.
  • At 7:54 p.m., police received a report about a woman walking in front of Dunkin' Donuts and bleeding from the mouth. The woman was transported to Salem Hospital.
