Man Reports Ex-Wife Keyed His Car

Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department log.

Thursday, Jan. 8

At 8:05 a.m., caller states that cars repeatedly violate school bus stop arm while his son is loading the bus in the morning. He requested enforcement in the future.

At 8:55 a.m., a caller stated that her neighbor left for Florida, but the trunk of the neighbor’s vehicle appeared to be open. The caller didn’t want to trip the home security system and asked police to close the trunk.

At 11:27 a.m., caller reported a limb from a tree on their property could fall onto Harbor Avenue. The caller was advised to contact a tree company to address the issue.

At 1:06 p.m., frozen pipes were reported and caller needed access to downstairs business in order to thaw them.

At 1:12 p.m., burst pipes in a residence were reported.

At 2:03 p.m., wires were reported down on Broughton Road.

At 2:54 p.m., a man reported someone had fraudulently used his Social Security Number.

At 4:51 p.m., burst pipes reported in a residence.

At 4:52 p.m., a person came into the police station to report his checkbook had been stolen around Dec. 21 and a $3,800 check had been cashed fraudulently.

At 7:56 p.m., a man called to report that his vehicle had been keyed. He said surveillance footage showed his ex-wife’s vehicle pulling up and the operator getting out and keying his vehicle.
