Mannequin Stolen, Clothes Later Returned: Marblehead Police Log

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from Tuesday's police log.

10:45 a.m - Someone reports a mannequin was stolen overnight on Washington Street, but called later to report an unknown person walked in and "returned the clothes."

1:40 p.m. - Caller says she was at the lights at Pleasant and Ocean when a vehicle drove in front of her, cut her off, then stopped short nearly causing an accident. Someone else called shortly after and reported the person was driving 60 mph on West Shore Drive. Police contacted the mother of the driver who said she will take the car away, and an officer will speak to him about his driving. Multiple calls in the area of Green St and West Shore Drive

5;03 p.m. - Multiple calls of "loud pop" and loss of power that affected many.

8:28 p.m. - Car drives into house on Redstone Lane. No injuries reported.
