Marblehead Author Worried She May Be Called as Witness in Whitey Bulger Trial

A Marblehead author could wind up as a witness for the defense in the Whitey Bulger trial.

The Salem News reports that Phyllis Karas, co-author of "Brutal: The Untold Story of My Life Inside Whitey Bulger’s Irish Mob," has been told she might be called. However, she has yet to be supoenaed or contacted by the prosecution or defense.
