MARBLEHEAD, MA — Cecropia Strong, a Marblehead-based charity that partners with a North Andover farm to provide therapeutic riding opportunities to those with disabilities, will host a benefit for those grants at The Landing Restaurant next month.

Julie Hahnke founded Cecropia Strong three years ago after a stroke upended her life. She wanted to give back, and those with disabilities are an under-represented group.

The Landing Restaurant, located at 81 Front Street in Marblehead, MA, will host the fundraiser from 5:30-9 p.m. on April 18. There will also be a silent auction and Pony Up! donations.

"There's a warm spot in our hearts for Windrush Farm, so come down and share in the celebration," Hahnke said. "There'll be friendship and joie de vivre all around.

"We're forging this partnership one stride at a time."
