Marblehead Boys Lacrosse Cruises Into Second Round of Playoffs

2. Board of Selectmen: The Board of Selectmen meet tonight. Among the agenda items is West Shore Gardens. 7:30 p.m. at Abbot Hall.
3. Boys Lacrosse Cruises in First Round of Playoffs: The Marblehead High School boys lacrosse team crushed Dartmouth yesterday 14-1 in the first round of the MIAA East Division 2 tournament. They'll face the winner of Bishop Feehan-Falmouth at 5 p.m. Friday, with the location still TBA.

4. More Playoff Schedules: Today's stormy weather is likely to postpone the second-seeded Marblehead High girls lacrosse team's home playoff game against 15th-seeded Wilmington. If they do play, the game is scheduled for 4 p.m. Softball seedings are also out. The Magicians meet Newburyport in the first round at home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
5. Spring Fling: Here's a bit of advance notice for Thursday's Marblehead Arts Association "Spring Fling." There will be wine, live classical and jazz music and food. Here's how to RSVP. Runs from 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday at the King Hooper Mansion.
