Marblehead Businesses Look To Lure Salem Residents Away From Halloween Crowds
Salem residents can get 10% off at participating Marblehead shops and restaurants during October with ID.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead businesses are banding together to lure Salem residents who need a break from the busy Halloween season in the Witch City.
A monthlong shop-and-dine discount promotion returns for a second year aimed at people from Salem who "need a break from the Halloween Madness" and want "a relaxing meal or shopping excursion without the crowds."
Salem residents who show a license or ID listing Salem as their residence can receive a 10% discount at participating Marblehead locations during October. The promotion covers both shopping and dining at a list of local businesses.

The shopping portion of the promotion includes Eos Designs Studio, 43 Pond St. - Rear Cottage; Papermoon, 54 Atlantic Ave.; Pawsitively Marblehead, 52B Atlantic Ave.; Sweetwater & Co, 33 Atlantic Ave.; The Happy Sunflower, 80 Washington St.; and Worldly Pets, 112 Pleasant St.
Participating restaurants are also offering 10% off during the month. The promotion does not apply to large parties or functions.

Restaurants named in the promotion are Blue Canoe Cafe, 14 School St.; Fresca Pizza & Pasta, 50 Atlantic Ave.; Mino's Roast Beef, 27 Atlantic Ave; and The Landing, 81 Front St.
