Marblehead Crosswalk Road Rage: Police Log

Here are excerpts from Wednesday's Marblehead Police log.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead Police log for Wednesday, May 30:

8:13 a.m. - A crossing guard said there were children in the crosswalk at Pleasant and Cross when a black car stopped for them. Behind the black car was a blue truck with a bad case of road rage, mad the black car wouldn't go.

11:44 a.m. - Caller said this was his third time calling about pedestrians walking on the wrong side of the road at Ocean and Harbor. He said police need to be more on the ball regarding enforcement. He'll email the chief.

11:45 a.m. - A person walking his dog at Brook and Clifton said the same gray Honda Civic passed by several times.

1:39 p.m. - A caller from Wyman Road said she saw a car pull in and throw a bag into the trash can by the park. She was curious so she checked the bag and found a number of aresol cans attached to something that has a light hooked to it. It ended up being a string of battery powered Christmas lights that were on.

3:09 p.m. - A caller at Washington and Pleasant told police a large truck was driving in the area and was concerned it might get stuck.

8:04 p.m. - Someone said about an hour before his son was riding home from baseball when hit by a. car. His son told him one person stopped as he was crossing and as he was crossing the vehicle struck him. The son was OK and rode off but the man wanted to speak to an officer because the bike got damaged.
