Marblehead Extends Overnight Snow Emergency Parking Ban 3 Nights
Vehicles must be removed from public roads from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. as snow removal efforts continue.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead has extended its snow emergency parking ban for three additional nights as efforts to remove nearly two feet of snow continue amid the frigid conditions.
The town cited ongoing plowing operations on roads and sidewalks for extending the overnight ban for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The parking bans begin at 11 p.m. each night and expire at 7 a.m.

All vehicles must be removed from the streets to allow for snow removal operations. Vehicles found in violation of the parking ban may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense to ensure that roads remain clear for emergency vehicles and snow removal operations.
"Residents and visitors are urged to plan and park responsibly to help keep roadways clear and safe," Marblehead police said. "It's important for drivers to watch out for pedestrians who may be in the roadway and yield cautiously when approaching or passing them."
