Marblehead Festival of Arts Annouces Film Retrospective
The event will showcase films from spring and winter festivals past.

The following is a press release submitted by Marblehead Festival of Arts
The Marblehead Festival of Arts is presenting a Film Retrospective that will show the best of films from Summer and Winter Short Film Festivals of years past. This red carpet event will be held Wednesday, March 25 at the Palmer Restaurant and Warwick Cinema on Pleasant Street in Marblehead, as part of on-going fundraising events that support the local Festival heritage.

“The films are selected from the Best of Show and People’s Choice winners going back to the beginning of the Film Festival in 2000,” said Mike Evers, co-chair of the Film Festival. “These works reflect the independent spirit that local Festival filmgoers have come to enjoy over the years.”
This unique 15-year retrospective will entertain with a variety of genres including comedy, drama, documentary, animation, music video and experimental/performance films.

The evening will begin with a buffet dinner at the Palmer Restaurant, which starts at 6 p.m. The one-hour Film Retrospective will follow. Tickets to the fundraiser are $50 per person. Reservations can be made at the Festival website, MarbleheadFestival.org or Arnould Gallery, Washington St, Marblehead. There will be a cash bar and door prizes. Come walk the red carpet and have an evening of great food, fun and films.
