Marblehead Girls Lacrosse Crushes Wilmington in Playoffs

2. Board of Selectmen: The Board of Selectmen meet tonight. Among the agenda items is West Shore Gardens. 7:30 p.m. at Abbot Hall.

3. Boys Lacrosse Faces Falmouth in Second Round of Playoffs: The Marblehead High School boys lacrosse team crushed Dartmouth 14-1 in the first round of the MIAA East Division 2 tournament. They'll face Falmouth at 5 p.m. Friday at home.

4. Girls Lacrosse Wins in First Round of Playoffs: The stormy weather didn't postpone yesterday's tilt between the second-seeded Marblehead High girls lacrosse team and 15th-seeded Wilmington. The Wildcats might wish the weather had intervened, as the Magicians drubbed them 20-6. The Marblehead girls move on to face Bishop Fenwick at home on Friday at 3 p.m.

5. Softball Plays This Afternoon: The Magicians meet Newburyport in the first round at home today at 3:30 p.m. at the middle school.
