Ends Dec. 6: Marblehead Harbor Rotary Holiday Pops-of-Fun Auction
36 Items Including Art, a Vintage Patriots NFL Jacket, Fashion, Experiences, and a Wedding Ceremony Now through December 6 at 5 p.m.
Due to COVID concerns, this year’s Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor’s annual Holiday Pops Concert has been postponed. In the meantime, in the festive spirit of Holiday Pops, the club is hosting the “Holiday Pops-of-Fun Online Auction” at https://www.biddingowl.com/RotaryClubofMarbleheadHar from now through Monday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m.
The 36 auction items reflect the skills, professions and generosity of the club members and their friends.
In the “Art” category, there are art pieces by Elaine Caliri Daly, Bud Orne, Joy Schmelzer and Freda Whitmore, and a Kirsten Bassion pottery bowl.

In “Clothing and Accessories,” there is a vintage, official New England Patriots NFL jacket with the “Joe Patriot” and WHDH logos; a 10-piece collection of handmade “Fair Trade” accessories from Mongolia; a gift certificate for cabi Fashions complete with a stylist appointment; an elegant metallic handknit cowl, a Dooney & Bourke hobo bag with its original tags, and a Tory Burch tote with its original tags.
In “Experiences and Workshops,” there is a pasta cooking lesson for six people with Chef and food writer Linda Bassett; a storytelling workshop with Judith Black; a two-hour private tour of Marblehead with Town Historian Donald Doliber; the opportunity to participate in Glover’s Regiment’s Encampment for two people complete with full kit and meals; memoir writing with Francie King; a behind-the-scenes tour of the Jeremiah Lee Mansion with Museum executive director Lauren McCormack, and lunch for four people at Champions Pub in Peabody.

In “Services,” there is a residential kitchen rehab consultation, a house inspection, and a wedding ceremony or the renewal of your vows.
“Health and Fitness” offers a massage and facial, physical therapy evaluation, and a one-hour phobia cure session.
More items include commemorative bricks to be installed on the Marblehead Little Theatre (MLT) terrace, a gift certificate for a live MLT performance, a $300 gift certificate toward a brass light fixture from Shiplights, and the “Architectural Digest at 100 – A Century of Style” coffee table book.
Winning bidders will be notified. Items cannot be shipped, but can be picked up in Marblehead the week following the auction.
All proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor’s scholarship program and philanthropic projects.
