Marblehead High MRSA: Student Infected, Facilities Cleaned

It is believed to be an isolated incident, school officials said.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — School officials confirmed that a Marblehead High student had MRSA, and that areas of the school were disinfected Monday. An email from Principal Dan Bauer explained the situation to parents, saying the school was notified early Monday and protocol was followed.

It is believed the student's illness is an isolated situation, and the student is being treated.
