Marblehead High Principal, Assistant Superintendent Search Begins
The district is looking to fill a high school principal search committee and has posted the assistant superintendent position.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead Superintendent of Schools John Buckey has begun the process of filling two impending administrative leadership vacancies in the district.
Students and parents are being sought for a Marblehead High principal search committee after Dan Bauer was chosen as the next Danvers superintendent last month. The district has also posted the opening for an assistant superintendent of teaching and learning after Nan Murphy was selected to be the next Dedham superintendent.
Buckey said the district also issued a series of surveys for students, staff and families on what are the most desired skills and experiences for the next principal. The Marblehead Educators Association will have four members on the search committee.

"We will provide additional details about this position in a future update," Buckey told the school community in his weekly newsletter on Friday. "The composition of the (superintendent) search committee will be similar, and the timeline should have the successful candidate announced by the first of May."
