Marblehead High School Presents "Man of La Mancha"

Marblehead High School will present the musical "Man of La Mancha," with four shows over the first two weekends in November.

Marblehead High School will present the musical “Man of La Mancha,” with four shows over the first two weekends in November.

Dates and times for Man of La Mancha are Saturday 11/15 at 7PM; Sunday 11/16 at 5PM; Friday 11/21 at 7PM and Sunday 11/23 at 5PM. The box office will be open 1 hour before show times. Students and seniors can purchase $10 pre-sale tickets (adults $20) during the lunch time ticket sale times on 11/10, 11/13, 11/14, 11/20, or 11/21. Tickets are available online and at the door, and will cost $15 for seniors/students and $20 for adults. Note: there is a $1.75 per ticket fee for online orders.

Adapted from the 1959 teleplay “I, Don Quixote,” the play was inspired by Miguel de Cervantes and his 17th-century masterpiece “Don Quixote.” It is the story of the “mad” knight, Don Quixote, told as a play within a play, performed by Cervantes and his fellow prisoners as he awaits a hearing with the Spanish Inquisition.
