Marblehead To Hold 3 Weeks Of Spring Leaf/Grass Pickup

The first week of yard waste curbside collection this spring is set for April 24.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead will offer three weeks of curbside pickup of leaves and grass this spring starting on April 24.

Curbside yard waste pickup will take place on residents' regularly scheduled trash day. Additional pickup weeks will be May 15 and June 5.

Only yard waste in leaf bags will be collected and plastic bags will not be picked up.

This collection is only for leaves and grass. Bags full of brush and branches will not be accepted as they affect the quality of compost that the leaves generate.

The collection will not occur on a legal holiday.
