Marblehead To Host Memorial Day Parade, Services
The weekend-long slate of events begins Friday with a Veterans Breakfast at the Council on Aging.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — A weekend of events honoring Marblehead veterans and its fallen heroes begins on Friday and concludes with a Memorial Day parade and presentation on Monday.
On Friday, a veterans breakfast will be held at the Council on Aging. The Masons are sponsoring the breakfast that will begin at 9 a.m.
On Saturday, the public is invited to attend and participate in grave flagging at Waterside Cemetery. Those looking to help out are encouraged to meet at the Bell Tower at 9 a.m.

On Sunday, the public is invited to attend a VFW Veterans Service at the Star of the Sea Cemetery.
On Monday, a parade will march to Memorial Park for speeches at 9 a.m. The parade will then reform and head to Waterside Cemetery and final presentations.
